Vision And Mission

The Panchayat envisions sustainable development while protecting soil, water, and biodiversity. Special emphasis will be given to the Haritha Kerala Mission as part of the Nava Kerala Mission, promoting intercropping and multi-cropping practices to achieve the goal of a fallow-free Panchayat. With the vision of organic farming, self-sufficiency in vegetable cultivation will be attained. Livestock farming, poultry farming, and goat rearing will be encouraged.

Housing security for all will be ensured. Improved healthcare facilities, disease prevention activities, and care and support for women, the elderly, and differently-abled persons, including those facing physical and mental challenges, will be provided. Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes will be brought into the mainstream of development.

Along with improving the infrastructure of schools, programmes will be formulated to enhance the quality of education. Greater importance will be given to promoting small-scale enterprises utilizing locally available raw materials rather than large industries. Necessary roads and walkways will be developed to improve transportation facilities in underdeveloped and rural areas. Priority will also be given to conventional and sustainable energy resources.
